The Sizzle™ Spice of Life is a local, family-owned Fresno business operated by Del and Sonia Ellis. Our family creates an award-winning collection of culinary spicy honeys that brings together the natural sweetness of California foothill honey with carefully developed blends of peppers, herbs, and spices. The Sizzle is available in three distinctive heat levels. Slow Burn delivers a mild-to-medium warmth that builds gently. Hot Crescendo begins with rich, savory flavor before rising to a bold, satisfying heat. Blazing Inferno is our hottest variety, created for adventurous customers who enjoy intense, lingering spice. Every batch is produced in a permitted commercial kitchen using our carefully controlled 103°F process, then hand-poured and hand-labeled by our family. The Sizzle received a Blue Ribbon at the 2025 Fresno County Fair, recognizing the quality and distinctive flavor of our honey. We especially enjoy offering samples so customers can experience all three heat levels and discover the one that suits them best. The Sizzle can be enjoyed on chicken, ribs, pork, pizza, vegetables, biscuits, cornbread, cheese, desserts, and much more. At The Sizzle, our promise is simple: “Flavor First.
