Gilligan’s Juice Bar

I have been selling fresh squeezed lemonade of over 39 year, since 1987. I started in High School selling lemonade at Sand Point Beach in Windsor Ontario Canada... to save you time, its located right across the Detroit River. I could not find a summer job, so I starting selling lemonade at the beach, Truly a "if the world hands you lemons, make lemonade" story. It was unbelievably successful, I developed a lemonade that was so good, that I kind of turned into a celebrity of sorts in the area. Local papers, radio and Tv stations requesting interviews, truly unbelievable. I went to having no summer job to becoming the one of the richest kid in high school. The push cart eventually turn into a trailer.. then several trailers that sold lemonade throughout South Western Ontario. I sold Gilligan's Juice Bar in Canada in 2025, and moved my family to Central Valley California... Hanford of all places. We went to several shows and festivals here a spectators but as a fellow lemonade guy, I make it a mission to sample other peoples fresh squeezed lemonade. I'm thinking this is California, this is where lemons come from... this area has got to have good lemonade. We went to the Fresno Fair, the Mid State fair, events in San Jose, several local night markets and could not believe how bad the lemonade was. How could this be! This is where lemons come from. So in May of this year we started both a Canadian Poutine ( fries ,Cheese curds and Gravy) booth as well as a Lemonade booth, Gilligan's Juice Bar USA. So far we have set up the lemonade stand at a handful events, but the response has been overwhelming. For example, we were at the Monterey Jazz Festival 2026, selling Lemonade, we had costumers return three or four times the same night for lemonade. We were getting remarks and feed back on how good the lemonade was, and that it was such a long time since I had lemonade like that. So here we are, at first I was concentrating on the establishing the Canadian Poutine booth , now I'm slowly trying to add shows, fairs, special events and markets for Gilligan's Juice Bar. We need to show Californians what true fresh squeezed lemonade taste like, an experience worthy of what California stand for.
